A nonprofit dedicated to educating teens, empowering families, and raising awareness about the realities of teen dating violence - all in honor of Rianna.
Who We Are
Rianna’s Voice is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to prevention, education, and compassionate support for teens and families experiencing dating violence or unhealthy relationship dynamics.
We work with middle schools, high schools, youth organizations, and community partners to spread awareness, spark meaningful conversations, and provide real resources to students ho may feel unheard or unsure where to turn.
Our mission is both powerful and personal – driven by the story of a vibrant young girl whose life was taken far too soon.

How Rianna's Voice Began
In the months following Rianna’s passing, Terry saw a painful truth:
Most teens don’t know the early warning signs of dating violence.
Many parents struggle to recognize when something is wrong.
And many schools lack the tools, training, or language to talk about it.
What started as a father’s desperate search for purpose became a mission to protect others.
Terry began sharing Rianna’s story – first with small groups, then with schools, youth organizations, and entire communities. The response was immediate and overwhelming. Teens spoke up. Parents asked questions. Schools invited him back again and again.
It became clear:
The community needed education. Teens needed support. And families needed resources.
From that need, Rianna’s Voice was born – a nonprofit built on love, awareness, prevention, and the belief that every teen deserves safety and respect.

Rianna was bright, artistic, compassionate, and full of life. She loved deeply and cared fiercely for the people in her world. Her smile could fill a room, her humor was contagious, and her creativity touched everyone around her.
On September 14, 2023, Rianna’s life was taken by teen dating violence – something no family should ever have to experience. She was only 16 years old.
Her father, Terry, was robbed of the chance to say goodbye…robbed of the chance to protect her from the danger she never should have faced. In the aftermath of unthinkable loss came a promise:
“No other parent should go through this. No other teen should feel alone or unsafe.”
Rianna’s Voice exists to keep that promise alive – to honor Rianna by protecting other teens just like her.
